FACAS+MISSION School and Workshop 2026

The FACAS+MISSION School and Workshop 2026 will take place from March 4–8 in Villa Carlos Paz, Córdoba, Argentina, offering an expanded program that brings together the 13th Argentine Workshop on Fundamentals for the Automatic Analysis and Construction of Software (FACAS 2026) and a dedicated MISSION Summer School. FACAS is a key national meeting point for researchers working on formal methods, verification, validation, and the synthesis of software‑related artifacts. The event fosters constructive scientific discussion, encourages interaction between researchers and doctoral students, and strengthens communication among research groups across Argentina. This year’s edition is jointly organised by MISSION, the Universidad Nacional de Río Cuarto (UNRC), and the Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA).

Thanks to the collaboration with MISSION, FACAS 2026 becomes an “extended” edition featuring several days of scientific research discussions. MISSION is contributing four half-day tutorials led by MISSION researchers Juan Fraire (UNC), Erika Ábrahám (RWTH), Emma Ahrens and Christina Gehnen (RWTH), and Raul Fervari (UNC), along with an industrial talk by D3TN on Fuzzing for DTN and the Space Cloud. By joining forces with FACAS, the MISSION project continues its commitment to supporting scientific exchange in Argentina and strengthening collaboration between Latin American and European research communities.
