MISSION Contributions Featured at SERESSA 2024
13 Dec 2024From December 2 to 6, 2024, the SERESSA school (20th International School on the Effects of Radiation on Embedded Systems for Space Applications) brought together experts and researchers at the CETT facility in Córdoba, Argentina. Among the speakers, Juan A. Fraire represented the MISSION project with his talk, “Cross-Layer Strategies for Radiation-Induced Faults in Delay-Tolerant Space Networks.”
Fraire’s presentation delved into strategies for mitigating radiation-induced uncertainties in deep-space communications. He showcased innovative methods such as integrating physical and network-layer resilience through robust scheduling and routing, employing store-carry-and-forward principles, and leveraging Markov Decision Processes (MDPs) for enhanced delivery reliability.
